Romania ready to cooperate with Iraq, says amb.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Romanian ambassador in Baghdad expressed on Wednesday his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq, a media statement said. This came during his meeting with Speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Osama al-Nujiefi. “The ambassador voiced his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in various domains, mainly in the reconstruction operations,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Bilateral relations will witness a significant development in the coming stage,” the statement added. “The parliament seeks to develop ties with Romania through forming a permanent friendship commission between the two parliaments,” al-Nujiefi said.   SH (TP)/SR   707
