Sadr calls government of Syria to confront Israeli assaults

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr called the Syrian government to confront the Israeli assaults on its territories.

Sadr said in his answer to a question raised by one of his followers about the repeated Israeli bombing on the Syrian territories exploiting the events there “Syria’s sovereignty should be protected and its government need to face these attacks.”

Syrian and US media outlets have reported that Israeli aircrafts bombarded in many air raids targets inside the Syrian territories over the past days.

Israeli officials mentioned that they targeted weapons cargo that was heading to Hezbollah in Lebanon coming from Syria.
