Sadr denies knowing about project of dividing Iraq

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sader Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, denied knowing about the project of dividing Iraq by a deal among Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran with the approval of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

In response to question by one of his followers over the statements of the MP of al-Ahrar bloc, Maha al-Dori, that the most important reason behind the participation of the Sadr Trend in Erbil meetings is to stop the project of dividing Iraq by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran with the approval of Maliki, he said “I do not know, ask them.”
