Sadr prevents supporters from demonstrating for 30 days

(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD – Cleric Moqtada al-Sadr announced on Saturday that owing to several reasons, he has asked his supporters not to demonstrate for a month.
Al-Sadr, in a press statement, said, “I hope that everyone will understand me. This is a pledge that I have made before God and before Iraq.”
Adding further he said, “I ask all my followers, especially the Sadrist movement, to stop emonstrating for a at least a period of 30 days.”
