Sadr supports suing US pastor who burns copy of Quran

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced his support for suing Florida pastor, Terry Jones, who burned copies of the Holy Quran.

In response to a question by one of his followers who intends to sue Jones, asking for his support, Sadr said “If this is possible, I do not mind.”

Terry Jones, the pastor of the Christian Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida, US, announced he would burn 200 copies of the Holy Quran in response for the attacks of September 11, 2001. Jones is the author of the book “Islam is of the Devil.”
