Sadr Trend defends Deputy Speaker Sihail
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The office of the Sadr Trend‘s Leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, denied the news which were reported by websites concerning accuses against the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Qusay al-Sihail.
The Office reported in a statement, concerning the visit of the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Qusay al-Sihail, to the Office of the Sadr Trend‘s Leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, that ”We deny all the information which were published by these websites and stress that these reports are groundless lies,” noting that “The visit was within the regular visits which the leaders and the officials of Ahrar Bloc conduct to the office of the Sadr Leader.”
The statement added that ”The visit addressed the concerns of the Iraqi people and the means to reduce the suffering as well as providing the best services on the legislative or executive levels,” noting that “The Sadr Trend‘s leader Muqtada al-Sadr was absent because he was not at his residence on Najaf province when Sihail visited the office.”
The statement continued saying that ”The First Deputy Speaker Qusay al-Sihail represents an important figure in the political process for his integrity and Professionalism as well as his position and at the same time, we strongly condemn the accuses which targeted him through some websites.”
Earlier, Several websites published many reports included accuses against the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Qusay al-Sihail. \
