Sadr Trend’s followers demonstrate in Karbala denouncing Maliki’s statements against Sadr

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) dozens of the supporters of the Sadr Trend took into streets in Karbala to denounce the recent statements of the Premier Nouri al-Maliki in which he criticized the remarks of the head of the Sadr Tend Muqtada al-Sadr.

IraqiNews.com correspondent reported on Thursday that “The demonstrators started the demonstration from the office of the Martyr al-Sadr in central Karbala, raising slogans in which they condemned Maliki’s statements that underestimated Sadr’s remarks.”

It is worth mentioning that Sadr’s office cited on last Tuesday “Maliki transgressed all the limitations when he criticized the statements of the head of the Sadr Trend where the latter criticized Maliki concerning arming the Iraqi army, stressing that the purchase of the weapons should be for the benefit of Iraq rather than the interests of other country.
