Sadrist MP describes corruption as "More dangerous than terrorism"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Shirifi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend described the corruption in the governmental institutions as “More dangerous than terrorism.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The security situation is instable since the US occupation to Iraq,” noting that “The mess is not related to the security situation, but also to the economic and political situations.”

“Corruption is not less dangerous than terrorism and stronger because it attacks the State and is spread in its institutions,” he concluded.
