Sayhoud accuses some blocs of hindering performance of legislative, executive authorities
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed al-Sayhoud, of the State of Law Coalition accused “Some political blocs of hindering the performance of the legislative and executive authorities.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Some blocs are creating crises and hurdling the endorsement of the important laws like the Parties Law and the Infrastructure Law in addition to the laws that the government needs in its performance.”
“The tendencies of the blocs become clear where some sides support the success of both the legislative and the executive authorities and other sides that are participating in the political process but they are irresponsible,” he added.
“The attendance of the political blocs for the national meeting will solve the political problems but some political leaders do not wish that and set difficult conditions,” he mentioned.
“The issue of the Security Ministers is not settled by the Iraqi National Alliance and the Iraqiya Slate,” he continued, confirming that “Such issue is to be solved by granting the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, more freedom to nominate the security ministers according to the norms of professionalism and integrity.”
“The IS adheres to the candidates who are unable to run the Ministry of Defense according to some blocs,” he concluded.
Earlier, the IS nominated the candidate, Salim Dili, for assuming the post of the Ministry of Defense.
