Shalgham calls to follow example of Imam Hussien in dealing with friends, enemies
A statement by the office of the head of the Foreing Relations Parliamentary Committee, Humam Hamoudi, received by IraqiNews.com cited “With the attendance of the Kuwaiti and the Palestinian Ambassadors as well as the representative of the European Union in addition to number of MPs and citizens, Shalgham recited a fascinating speech about Imam Hussien during the third day of the annual festival held by Hamoudi’s office.”
“Shalgham confirmed the importance of taking the interests of the nation into consideration by any reformer as Imam Hussein did,” the statement added.
“He stressed consolidating the brotherhood among the Muslims from the inspiring event of Imam Hussien revolution,” the statement concluded.
