Shihristani, Shukri discuss mutual relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Acting Foreign Minister, Hussein al-Shihristani, discussed with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Samih Shukri, the mutual relations and the current crisis in Iraq and the reason.

Shihristani stated in a joint press statement with Shukri “Iraq welcomes Shukri’s visit and express its readiness to cooperate with the Egyptian people over their participation to settle the crises in the region and Palestine in particular.”

For his part, Shukri stated “We have met with the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and Shihristani were we discussed the readiness of the Egyptian President, Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, to visit all the Iraqi political sides and reach a compromise to settle the Iraqi crisis.” /End/
