Shiite not to allow trespassing religious beliefs, says Khafaji

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji, of the State of Law Coalition pointed out “The Shiite will not allow trespassing the religious beliefs under the claim of democracy and the freedom of expression.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he rejected “The sectarian sides and Ba’athists who launched negative statements against the major community in the country under the claim of democracy.”

“The Ba’athists dream of harming the political process through instructing their supporters in some provinces to conduct demonstrations and to lift the photos of Saddam Hussien,” he added.

“We will eliminate the sides that want to harm our religious faith and the Iraqis’ gains,” he continued.

“Let our enemies see the millions who come to Karbala to realize who the Shiite is where no side can affect them because Iraq is a free country run by its people,” he concluded.
