Signatures to question Premier Maliki – Iraqiya spokeswoman

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Al-Iraqiya bloc spokeswoman Maysoun Damalouji announced that “the bloc is working to collect signature to directly question Premier Maliki.”   She told IraqiNews.com that the signatures will be submitted during the coming few days.   In the telephone call between Allawi and leading member of the Higher Islamic Council Dr. Adel Abdul Mehdi, she added that the talks concentrated on “the dissatisfaction of the political blocs with the unilateral approach in governing the state and the desire to preserve the democracy in Iraq.”   “The mutual approach between al-Iraqiya and the Higher Council is an old one, but these fears are the reason for the nearness of all blocs,” she added.
