Siheil stresses necessity of settling corruption files strategically affect Iraq
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker, Qusaiy al-Siheil, stressed the necessity of completing the investigation in the corruption files that strategically affect Iraq.
A statement by Siheil’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Siheil visited the Integrity Commission and met with its Director, Alaa Hamid, and some officials where they discussed the performance of the Commission and its future plans.”
“Siheil stressed the necessity of protecting the citizens’ interests by eliminating corruption in the governmental institutions,” the statement added.
“He called to increase the efforts to stop the corrupted officials, assuring that the parliament supports the Commission and it is adherent to its independence,” the statement pointed out, assuring that “He assured the importance of expediting settling the corruption files that strategically affect Iraq.”
