SIIC chief arrives n Beirut
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, arrived in Beirut on Monday within his multi-leg Arab tour, according to a statement of the SIIC. “Al-Hakim will meet in the coming days with a number of senior Lebanese officials,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “A high-profile Lebanese delegation, including Shiite lawmakers, and Iraqi ambassador to Lebanon and other senior officials received al-Hakim at the airport,” the statement added.
