Sistani meets Larijani in Najaf

NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani met Wednesday with Shiite top cleric Sayyid Ali al-Sistani at his office in Najaf, a media source said. “Larijani met with al-Sistani on Wednesday (Mar. 25) on an unofficial visit,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The Iranian official had arrived in Najaf on Tuesday (Mar. 24) from Karbala on an unofficial visit where he meets with several religious clerics.
