Situation controlled by terrorists rather than security forces, says Taha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shwan Mohammed Taha, stated that the security situation is controlled by the terrorists rather than the security forces, noting that “The security leaders confessed of the weakness of the Intelligence system during the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The security situation in Iraq in general is disturbed where we discussed this issue during the meeting of the security leaders over and about the problem of the intelligence system which means that Iraq has no inelegance system at all.”

“Regarding the terrorist attack against the Anti-Terrorism Department showed that it is a different terrorist attack because it attacked the root of the security system which makes it a clear indicator that the terrorists control the security situation and not the security leaders,” he added.

He called the government to “Re-consider its policy over the security situation and the security breaches in Baghdad and other provinces such as Diyala,” pointing out “The marginalization of the constituents of Diyala province by the government negatively affect the situation.”
