SLC MP calls parliament chairmanship not to participate in current disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji, of the State of Law Coalition called the parliament chairmanship not to interfere in the political disputes.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The Kurdish sides always follow the media escalation against the central government that tries to settle the current crisis between the two sides.”

“The reports over using the weapons against the citizens are impossible to happen where the government preferred conducting the dialogue rather than the military conflict,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Deputy Speaker, Arif Tayfor, the leader within the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, called the President of the United States of America, Barrack Obama, to prevent the Iraqi Army from using the weapons against the Kurds by suspending the heavy equipment and tanks.
