Sorting of special votes begins in Wassit

WASSIT /Iraqi News The sorting of special votes has started in Wassit, the director of the Independent High Electoral Commission’s (IHEC) office in the province said on Tuesday. “The sorting of special votes has begun in the center located in the central library, downtown Kut,” Dr. Kadhem al-Shamri told Iraqi News. The process is being conducted in the presence of representatives of political blocs, civil society organizations and the media, he added.
