ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Speaker of Kurdistan’s Parliament Adnan al-Maufti discussed on Tuesday with Czech ambassador in Iraq bilateral relations and the role of his country’s companies in the reconstruction of Kurdistan, the Parliament said in a statement. “Al-Mufti received the ambassador and his assistant as well as representatives of a number if Czech companies,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com. “The meeting discussed means of boosting political and trade relations between Kurdistan and Czech,” the statement added. For his part, the ambassador voiced his country’s readiness to boost relations with Kurdistan in various domains and invited al-Mufti to visit Czech to bolster parliamentary relations between the two countries. “A total of 15 Czech companies will take part in the Arbil international Fair, scheduled to be opened on Wednesday,” the statement quoted the ambassador as saying.
