Syrian PM in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Otri arrived in the capital Baghdad, leading a high-ranking delegation to the Higher Iraqi-Syrian Committee’s meeting, an Iraqi cabinet source said on Tuesday. On March 12, Baghdad-based Iraqi-Syrian talks were chaired by Iraqi Minister of Trade Abdulfalah al-Sudani and Syrian counterpart Amer Hussein Lotfi. The two sides agreed to set up six joint committees in the fields of economy, trade, energy, electricity, water resources, and education. Iraqi government Spokesperson Ali al-Dabbagh said that the meeting will be attended by the Syrian ministers of finance, interior, oil, irrigation, economy, health, transportation, industry, electricity, and housing.
