Talabani, Barazani discuss separation of parties from govt.

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Iraqi Kurdistan President Massoud Barazani are discussing on Friday a host of issues, including the separation of party politics from the Kurdish regional government’s activities, a media official in Talabani’s Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) revealed. “Talabani and Barzani will also discuss independence of institutes, universities and courts as well as the outcome of Talabani’s recent visit to the city of Kirkuk,” Azad Jindyani told IraqiNews.com. He did not give further details about the meeting. Talabani earlier arrived in Salaheddin resort in the city of Arbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, to meet with Barazani. AmR (P) 1
