Talabani, Barzani discuss current condition in Iraq, Kurdistan

Talabani-Barzani BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani met with the Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani and his accompanying delegation including Kurdistan RegionG PM Negervan Barzani, Rozh Nouri Shawais, and the Head of Kurdistan Region Presidency’s Divan Fuad Hussein in addition to several others officials, a presidential statement said. “President Talabani warmly welcomed Barzani and his accompanying delegation during the meeting which was attended by the Iraqi Deputy PM Burham Saleh, the Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, and the US ex-Ambassador in Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Both presidents exchanged views on the current condition in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region as well as strengthening ties between Baghdad and Arbil to better serve the interest of the Iraqi components,” it added.
