Talabani denounces Damascus explosions

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com : Iraqi president Jalal Talabani denounced the explosions that hit Damascus yesterday, connecting them with Baghdad explosions. In a statement, void of any reference to the Syrian president Bashar al-Asad, as usual in diplomatic letters and condolences. About 44 persons were killed and more than one hundred wounded in two suicidal terrorist action against security posts in the Syrian capital. The Syrian regime is witnessing for the last ten months a series of demonstration demanding political reforms and freedom of expression, till they were developed to topple the regime following the use of excessive force against the people. “Despite terrorist actions, we need more solidarity and cooperation on the national, regional and international levels”, the statement confirmed. 1073
