Talabani meets Amr Moussa

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani received Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa Thursday at his premises in Sulaimaniya, according to a media source. “ The two officials held a meeting attended by Kurdish Prime Minister Negervan Barzani,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting a joint press conference will be held after the meeting. Moussa had visited Najaf today where he met with top Shiite cleric Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. On Monday (March 16), Moussa arrived in Iraq and met with Deputy Prime Minister Burham Saleh, Defense Minister Abdelqadir Mohammed Jassem, Interior Minister Jawad al-Bulani, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed al-Dulaymi.   SH (P)/SR 1
