Talabani meets Hakim, Abdul Mahdi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, met The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the leader within the SIIC, Adil Abdul Mahdi, as well as the accompanied delegation in Baghdad on Saturday.

A Presidential statement cited “They reviewed the political situation and the solutions of the current disputes which hinder the political process.”

“They stressed the importance of the national dialogue to reach solutions based on the constitution and the concluded agreements to ensure the partnership among all sides to consolidate the performance of the State and to present the best services,” the statement concluded.
