Talabani receives Maliki in Sulaimaniya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani received the Premier Nouri al-Maliki and several Iraqi Ministers and officials at his residence in Sulaimaniya province on Wednesday.

A statement by the Premier’s office cited “Maliki arrived on Wednesday to Sulaimaniya province and was received by President Talabani and other Iraqi officials.”

“Maliki was accompanied by the Deputy Premier Hussein al-Shahristani, Deputy Premier Salih al-Mutleg in addition to other Iraqi ministers and officials,” the statement added.

President Talabani has arrived in Sulaimaniya on last Monday returning from a medical trip in Germany that lasted for three months.
