Talabani, Rubaei discuss political situation in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani discussed with the Secretary General of Wasat Trend, Mwafaq al-Rubaei the problems that face the political process and the efforts to address them to reach comprehensive national agreements.

A statement by the Presidency cited “Talabani received Rubaei at his office in Baghdad where they reviewed the current political tensions and ways of resolving them.”

Rubaie highly praised “Talabani’s continuous efforts and adherence to preserve the democracy, and the Constitution.”
