SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani will head tomorrow to Kuwait to attend the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, according to a media source. “Talabani will head a high-ranking delegation to the conference, January 19-20,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The conference will tackle the Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip, in addition to other issues related to unemployment, and the rights of women and children. For the fourth week in a row, Israel has been launching a series of strikes against multiple targets in the Hamas-run territories, which left nearly 1,200 Palestinians killed and more than 5,300 wounded.
