Talabani to return to Iraq after Ramadan, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Kurdistani Alliance, MP Khalid Shiwani, assured “The President, Jalal Talabani, will return to Iraq after Ramadan month.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Post his return, Talabani will work on gathering all the political blocs to reach a suitable solution for the current political crisis.”

“Talabani’s health is good where he receives the medical treatment in Germany,” he concluded.

Talabani underwent a successful surgery for his knee in Germany on last June.

Concerning the disputes between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government over deploying Iraqi Army forces in the border areas close to Syria, MP Shiwani said “The issue of the disputed areas is a critical file where a committee formed between the CG and the Kurdistan RegionG to be responsible of sustaining security and fighting terrorism in these areas yet the last development was done without coordination.”

He expressed “His hope to settle this issue soon.”
