Tayfur criticizes DOC performance towards citizens in Hawija

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Speaker, Arif Tayfur, criticized “The inhumane behaviors of Dejla Operations Command towards citizens in Kirkuk.”In statement received by IraqiNews.com, He expressed his sorrow for “The practices of the DOC during the clashes in Haweja area with the citizens that resulted in killing a soldier and a civilian while many others were wounded.””The security forces in Haweja area should let the peaceful demonstrations since the freedom of opinion is a legitimate right granted by the Iraqi Constitution,” he added.”We are surprised that Arab MPs of Kirkuk in the Parliament did not take any actions towards this critical voilations since they are supposed to represent the Arab community,” he assured.Tayfur stressed “The importance of sticking to the neutral and professional norm by the security forces while performing their duty and not use the force to disperse the demonstrators who organized a peaceful demonstration to express their legitimate rights.””The Iraqi Army is demanded to protect the demonstrators in all Iraqi province and to stay away from the political affiliations,” he concluded/. \END\
