BABEL / IraqiNews.com: The U.S. Ambassador in Baghdad , Christopher Hill, said on Tuesday that the U.S. government seeks to boost relations between Iraq and Kuwait in economic, political and cultural fields. Speaking at a press conference after reopening the motorway linking Baghdad and Basra through Babel , the diplomat said “ Washington seeks to abide by the security agreement between the U.S. and Iraq because it set up mutual trust between the countries.” “The Iraqi government is exerting a great effort to get Iraq out of the Chapter 7 and Washington seeks to reformulate this decision in cooperation with the Iraqi government,” he added.
