Urgent – .Nijaifi: we will adhere to any constitutional measure to replace Talabani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi stressed on Tuesday that “We will not hesitate to take any constitutional action to elect a President.”

Nijaifi referred that “a request was forwarded to the Public Prosecution and the legal advisor and we will be abide by any legal and constitutional resolution in this respect.”

The public Prosecution has demanded the parliament to find a replacement to the current President, Jalal Talabani who spends treatment period in Germany since five months.
