US forces stay: a new occupation – Muqtada

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr said today that the continued presence of occupying forces under the pretext of training police and military force is “an organized occupation in new attire,” according to a statement by the Political Sadrist Authority. The Iraqi political blocs agreed last week to an extension of U.S.trainers without granting them immunity, which was originally demanded by the United States.
