Vendetta attacks on the way, warns MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Member of the parliament predicted Monday that there will be “vendetta” attacks by Iraqi Qaeda organization following the killing of its master leader Osama bin Laden. Security and Defence Commission MP Sabah Al-Sa’idi said in press conference attended by IraqiNews.com that the killing of Bin Laden coincides with the explosion of the Shiite two Imams in Samarra, which “by itself is supreme punishment by God”. He called upon security forces to exert efforts and conduct pre-emptive strikes because Iraq is regarded a scene of terrorism and finalizing accounts with the United States. Al-Sa’idi stressed the importance of intelligence work in order to eliminate all al-Qaeda cells in Iraq. On the other hand, Qassim Al-A’raji told IraqiNews.com that “the killing of Bin Laden will incite his cells to make vindictive attacks, just like what happened with the Killing of Zarqawi and Abu Ayoub Al-Masry. He described the killing of Bin Laden as ” part of US policy to change the roles, so will see more than one personality other than Bin Laden, particularly this organization has tremendous financial network in Europe”. A number of Arab and international media broadcasted US president Barack Obama’s speech announcing the killing of Qaeda master-minded Osama bin Laden in a special military operation in Pakistan, in cooperation with the Pakistani government, in a residence complex near Islamabad. Identification of the personality was made through examining his DNA, as reported. RM (TS)/ SH 834
