Volunteers flourished dignity, will of Iraq, says Maliki
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Vice- President Nouri al-Maliki considered on Sunday that “Azhar University was entrapped by the terrorist ISIL,” stressing that “The volunteers have flourished the dignity and will of Iraq.”
Maliki said during a ceremony held by Qadissiya University to support the Iraqi security forces and volunteers “The volunteers revived the dignity and will of Iraq when our enemies attempted to execute their criminal schemes,” noting that “The Egyptian Azhar religious authority was entrapped by the terrorist ISIL when it rushed to issue statements that defame the volunteers in Iraq.”
“Our unity foiled the conspiracies of the enemies of Iraq who try to return Iraqis to the days of disgrace,” Maliki added, stressing that “These conspiracies started since the fall of the Tyrant Saddam Hussein but they failed and will fail to disunite Iraq.”
VP Maliki called all Iraqis to “Back up and support the volunteers who participated in uniting Iraqis and kill sectarianism in the country,” warning from listening to bad voices who try to degrade the victories achieved by the hero volunteers.” /End/
