VP discusses with interior minister security, political developments

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdulmahdi discussed on Wednesday with Interior Minister Jawad al-Boulani the latest security and political developments in the country, according to a presidential statement. “Abdulmahdi received on Wednesday Interior Minister Jawad al-Boulani, with whom he discussed the latest security developments, mainly the recent achievement of the Lion’s Leap Operation by killing the top two al-Qaeda leaders in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al-Masri and Abu Omar al-Baghdadi,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting tackled also the ongoing talks among political blocs to form a national partnership government,” it added.
