Woman, childhood committee stresses importance of approving 2010 budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chairwoman of the parliament’s woman and childhood committee stressed on Thursday the importance of approving the 2010 general budget, asserting there are 200,000 widows within the social security network who will not be able to receive their salaries in case not approving the law. “Some political blocs bargained approving the law with approving other draft laws,” Samira al-Moussawi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “These blocs forgot that the government’s institutions are waiting for the budget to be approved,” she added.
