2 Sahwa fighters killed in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two Sahwa (Awakening) tribal fighters were killed in an armed attack by unknown gunmen, targeting a Sahwa checkpoint in al-Dora neighborhood, southern Baghdad , a source from the Iraqi police said on Sunday. “The armed men were in a civilian car when they waged the attack,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Two of the checkpoint personnel were killed,” he said. “The attacking group escaped to an unknown place and police forces could not arrest them,” he added.
