VP discusses developing projects in Baghdad

Iraq-Baghdad BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdul Mahdi on Monday discussed with Baghdad’s Secretary Saber al-Eissawi means of developing the services and construction projects in Baghdad, a presidential statement said. “During the meeting the vice president also discussed means to solve problems and obstacles facing the implementation of some projects,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com. “Abdul Mahdi stressed the importance of unifying efforts for implementing services projects and the necessity of setting up investment and strategic projects,” the statement explained. For his part, al-Eissawi highlighted a number of projects to be implemented in the province, including the pure water project, Metro Baghdad, and a project to establish a modern city as well as the 2009 plan.
