45 wanted arrested in Baghdad in 24 hours – BOC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested 45 wanted persons and defused seven roadside bombs throughout Baghdad during the past 24 hours, a Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) official spokesperson said on Saturday. “The forces also seized an amount of arms and munitions and freed a hostage,” Maj. General Qassem Atta told IraqiNews.com. “One Iraqi serviceman was killed and four others wounded during the operations,” he said. “Around 35 displaced families returned home in Baghdad,” he added.
