Constitution is sole recourse to solve problems – Barazani, Allawi

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, and the former Iraqi premier, Iyad Allawi, on Saturday stressed that the constitution is the only recourse to solve the country’s pending issues, according to a release by the region’s presidency. “The constitution should be the political and legal frame of reference,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com. “Barazani and Allawi discussed the political and administrative differences between Kurdistan’s regional cabinet and Iraq’s federal government and means to reach proper solutions for them,” it added.
