8 smugglers, infiltrators nabbed on Iraqi-Syrian border

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Border guard forces arrested eight infiltrators and smugglers on the Iraqi-Syrian borders west of Mosul city, a source from Ninewa operation command said on Wednesday. “Today, a force from the 6 th Brigade arrested three persons in Sanouni district, Sinjar (120 km west of Mosul) while they were trying to smuggle 93 sheep on the Iraqi-Syrian borders,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “A Kia-modeled vehicle was also seized by the security forces,” the source added.
