Cotton Industries signs $3.5M contracts

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The State Company for Cotton Industries has signed several contracts with the private sector to supply its factories with machinery in an attempt to push up its production levels. “The aggregate value of the contracts signed thus far is $3.5 million,” according to a statement released by the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals and received by IraqiNews.com. The statement did not indicate when the contracts were signed. The Iraqi Ministry of Health mainly depends on the company’s products, particularly on medical products, the statement added. SS (P) 1
