High-level Spanish delegation to visit Iraq in weeks-Ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday announced a high-level delegation will visit the country in upcoming weeks to boost the bilateral ties between the countries. “Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari met Spanish Ambassador to Baghdad to discuss boosting ties between the countries,” said a Foreign Ministry statement received by IraqiNews.com. The announcement cited the Spanish as saying “a high-level Spanish delegation would visit Iraq in the upcoming weeks to strengthen the shared relations in different fields.” Suffering from regional and global isolation for decades, Iraq has sought to broaden the scopes of ties with many countries particularly after enjoying the lowest levels of violence in four years.
