Demonstration in Sweden supporting Iraq’s Christians

STOCKHOLM / IraqiNews.com: A demonstration was launched in Sweden on Saturday in support of Iraq’s Christians and condemning the violent acts that targeted them in Mosul city, according to the demonstration’s organizer. “The demonstration took place 450 km south of the Swedish capital, Stockholm,” Mohanad Aziz told IraqiNews.com. “Demonstrators submitted memos to the Swedish and European parliaments demanding them to investigate crimes Christians in Iraq have been subjected to,” he said. “They also demanded to facilitate the residency process for Iraqis at immigration countries, and called on people everywhere to support displaced Iraqis within Iraq,” he added.
