Baghdad attack leaves policeman killed, 2 wounded

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A policeman was killed and two others wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday, according to a security source. “Unknown gunmen attacked a police patrol in the area of al-Ghadir, eastern Baghdad, after showering the patrol with bullets, leaving one policeman killed and two others injured,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen then escaped to an unknown place,” the source said, adding the two wounded people were rushed to a nearby hospital.
