Criminal court finds 61 suspects guilty

Iraq-Criminal BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council said that the Central Criminal Court in al-Karkh on Tuesday found 61 suspects, including an Arab, guilty for perpetrating different crimes. “The sentences varied from life, to death sentences against 61 convicts,” Judge Abdul Sattar al-Beraqdar told IraqiNews.com. “The court gave four death sentences against suspects, including an Arab, two sentences fro attempting to kill, two for stealing, 18 for holding weapons, 11 for forgery, 19 for joining armed gangs and five different sentences,” he also said.
