IED wounds 3 cops in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Three policemen were wounded on Wednesday when an improvised explosive device went off inside a house in northern Mosul , a police source said. “After receiving information about gunmen who attacked a Christian family, police elements rushed to al-Qahera neighborhood in northern Mosul to investigate the incident and when they entered the house, a bomb exploded, injuring three policemen,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen booby-trapped the house after their crime,” the source explained. A police source had said earlier that unidentified gunmen killed two Christian women and injured their mother in al-Qaher neighborhood in northern Mosul . Mosul , the capital city of Ninewa , lies 405 km north of Baghdad .
