VP stresses improving agriculture

Wassit-Bridge BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi on Thursday stressed the necessity of rescuing the agricultural sector, to fulfill local consumption instead of relying on neighboring countries, according to a release issued by al-Hashemi’s office. “Al-Hashemi stressed the necessity of improving Iraqi citizen’s circumstances in all fields,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com. “He blamed some ministries of sub-par performances, despite the financial improvement,” it added.
